How is Amaizing Sweet Corn different from canned and frozen sweet corn?

Amaizing Sweet Corn kernels are not cut from the cob. When sweet corn kernels are cut from the cob — the sweet corn kernels must be immediately processed via canning or freezing — otherwise pathogens can penetrate the cut sweet corn kernels. Amaizing Sweet Corn kernels are carefully extracted (with the germ) from the cob. Each Amaizing Sweet Corn kernel is whole — undamaged and intact. As such, Amaizing Sweet Corn does not need to be processed via canning or freezing. Each Amaizing Sweet Corn kernel is similar to an egg — fully self-contained capsules of nutritious goodness —

What is the sweet corn germ?

The sweet corn germ is the bright yellow center part of a sweet corn kernel (see the Amaizing Sweet Corn logo). It is packed with protein and other valuable nutrients. Because Amaizing Sweet Corn kernels are extracted from the cob - rather than cut from the cob - we are able to retain the nutritious germ. Fun fact: corn oil is made from corn germs.

Isn't corn in "everything"?

That's right. Corn is in many processed foods, but that's field corn — not sweet corn. Field corn isn't sweet at all — so sugar is added to many food products made with field corn. Fun fact: farm animals eat field corn.
